Am I safe to order online?

Ordering online with us is safe and secure!

We employ a method of interaction with our visitors that does not compromise credit card information. This online system is 100% secure.

We encourage you to feel comfortable using your credit card to conduct commerce on our site. If you wish, you may also send us a personal cheque. Personal cheques will delay your order as we must wait for your funds to clear before we ship any merchandise. Please allow an additional 7-10 business days for shipping.

To order by cheque, just print the order form with your shopping cart contents from the order confirmation page and complete the necessary fields, then mail the form to the address above.

What is your return / refund policy?

Every item we sell is carefully inspected before it is shipped. If you are not satisfied with your goods please inform us within 14 days of receipt and we will arrange to collect them (the whole order) and give a full refund (excluding the cost of shipping). Or we will exchange items if they are faulty on delivery to you and we are notified within 7 days of receipt of the product. All products to be returned must be unopened (unless faulty) and carefully re-packaged in their original packaging.

What happens if a price changes?

Goods are charged at price shown on the product pages on the date the customer places the order and are inclusive of VAT. Prices are correct at time of publication. Errors and omissions are excepted. Orders will be processed at our published prices, otherwise, in the case of any unexpected change in price, you will be informed and asked if you wish to reconsider your order before proceeding.

Delivery charges

Because we offer the most competitive prices on our items that we can, we have to charge a percentage of the carriage to you the customers. Online retailers offering free carriage mostly raise their product prices to cover the cost; just remember nothing in life is free!

All deliveries with weight limits not exceeding 20kg per parcel will be delivered via DPD or Parcelforce depending on your location. International Shipments will be via DPD on their Classic Service. For larger orders it may be more cost effective to use a pallet courier to save on shipping costs. Please contact us for more information on this option.

We do offer FREE shipping on orders over £75 with a maximum weight of 20kg; if your order is over 20kg and over £75 we will pay for the first box and you pay £2.99 for every 20kg box thereafter. If however you prefer to upgrade to a different delivery service then £5.99 will be deducted from the shipping cost.

Standard delivery 2-3 days - £5.99
Next working day, not a guaranteed service (8am - 5pm) - £8.99
Next day by 12 noon, Guaranteed Service. (8am- 12noon) - £9.99
Saturday, Guaranteed Service - £14.99

PLEASE NOTE: During exceptional circumstances or weather conditions guaranteed delivery services may be suspended and in this case no late delivery claim will be entered into.

The Highlands and Off Shore Isles, including Northern Ireland will be delivered via FedEx and require a 4-5 day service. Delivery charges are the same as above, but no discount on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th boxes, surcharges apply to certain post codes. Please see exceptions below:

Please Note: Items with FREE Delivery are excluded from the standard delivery terms and will not count towards the minimum spend required, surcharges will still apply on a box by box basis if a post code exception applies.

Delivery times

Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays) 8am - 5pm.
Saturday deliveries are usually made between 8am - 5pm.

All orders are normally despatched within 24 hours of order confirmation. Orders for the next working day must be on our system by 11am on the day of despatch (next working day delivery is available Monday - Friday; Saturday delivery is available at an extra cost).
You will be shown a list of available delivery options and prices during the checkout process. All orders placed after the cut-off time of 3pm on Friday and over the weekend will be despatched on Monday. If Monday is a bank holiday this would then be Tuesday.
Upon your order being despatched you will then be emailed a tracking number so you are aware that your goods are on there way to you.

What sort of security do you have?

This site uses the highest security measures currently available to protect you when you shop online with us. Our encryption software is 256bit; the highest possible. This encrypts your card data not only between you and our server at the time you place your order, but also between our server and the office when we process your order.

As a company we feel so strongly about credit card fraud and misuse that we actively report any suspicious activity that our site receives to the local police in the area of the intended transaction.

Unlike most other internet shopping companies we own our own dedicated hosting server off-site in London’s Canary Wharf, and because we do not share our server your information is totally secure and is only visible to our company.

When goods are despatched

Once your goods have been despatched we will automatically email you a DPD tracking number so you can follow the progress of your delivery.

Delivery claims

All claims for shortages and / or non-delivery must be made by telephone within 48 hours of receipt and then in writing within 7 days, otherwise claims cannot be entered into.
We will do our utmost to resolve any such situations speedily, efficiently and amicably.

We only buy from quality sources; all of our feed suppliers have passed rigorous standard checks in order to be able to display the BSA - Bird Care Standards Association Logo.
