Magnesium Sulphate - Epsom Salt

Epsom Salts is the commonly-used name for the chemical compound magnesium sulphate. Epsom Salts for horses can be used to treat conditions like bruising or abscesses on the feet of horses. When magnesium sulphate is absorbed through the skin it draws toxins from the body, sedates the nervous system, reduces swelling and is an excellent muscle relaxant.

In the case of colic, Epsom Salts will draw water into the intestine. Oral dosing of Epsom Salts is usually accompanied by intravenous (IV) fluid administration to help increase this osmotic effect.

Ingredients:
100% Pure Epsom Salts (Magnesium Sulphate)

Feeding Guide:
10g of Epsom Salts per 100kg bodyweight, or 50g of Epsom Salts for an average 500kg horse. Per day, best split between two feeds.
