A great mealworm feeder for both live and dried mealworms, this can be hung from a hook or placed on a pole in the ground. The lid is totally adjustable so you can close it down for smaller birds or leave it fully open for all birds. The feed bowl is approximately 5 inches in diameter and 3 inches deep.
The adjustable roof is approximately 6 inches in diameter giving the feed contents protection from the elements and thus making the food inside last longer by not being exposed to the rain.
the main problem is the size of the ring to hang up is too small for my feeding station and can be hard to adjust to the right height

They're getting used it.
Takes a bit of getting used to how to adjust the lid so as to give access to the intended birds; also to making sure that it is screwed together quite tightly as otherwise the activity of bigger birds (jackdaws, crows etc) landing on them can result in the bottom half coming loose and scattering the mealworms below.
Difficult to work out what gap to leave in view of different sizes of birds who we want to attract.

Birds haven't really got used to it yet, but I'm sure they will! Cover is a good idea to keep things dry.
Initially a few problems adjusting the gap, but working fine now
Not starling proof, they clear it out in minutes, smaller birds don't get a look in, need a more secure feeder for the smaller birds
